The UMA Innovation Awards are open to all eligible companies in the mobile industry developing or providing UMA-enabled products or services. Peer nominations, self nominations and multiple submissions are acceptable. Be sure to clearly indicate for which category your submission is specified. More information about the award categories is available HERE.
Deadline
The deadline for award submissions is 5 pm (17:00) GMT Monday 14 January 2008. That includes the official entry form, as well as any relevant supporting evidence. Submissions must be emailed to .
Winners
The award submissions will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges from the telecom industry. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Monday 11 February 2008 at Mobile World Congress (formerly 3GSM). The specific location will be announced. Winners need not be present to win. Only first-place prizes will be awarded.
Language
Entries will only be accepted when submitted in the English language. When submitting forms and supplementary materials, please supply with either an English voice-over if possible or with an English text translation of the script in a Word document.Â
Supporting Evidence
Please submit supporting evidence with the completed entry form, as appropriate. All evidence should be submitted in electronic format, such as electronic files, PDF, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, .jpg files, .mpeg files, .wav files and Web site addresses.
