RIM Goes Full Speed Ahead with UMA-Enabled Dual-Mode Phones
The RIM rumor mill is churning, and we here at UMA Today love the talk of even more newUMA-enabled dual-mode phones from leading device companies.

First,we heard late last week from Boy Genius that a new clam-shell RIM Blackberry, called 'Kickstart,' will soon become available to subscribers of Rogers Wireless' UMA service, TalkSpot, as well as T-Mobile's Unlimited HotSpot Calling (formerly HotSpot @Home). Maybe Cincinnati Bell could pick the phone up for their Fusion service as well.
Then, just this week, Engadget broke the news of the Blackberry Javelin and suspects it will be a replacement for the Blackberry Curve in T-Mobile's Unlimited HotSpot Calling lineup. According to leaked specifications also posted on Crackberry.com, the Javelin is a 2.5G UMA-enabled dual-mode handset with GPS, a 512MHz core,256MB of onboard storage, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a "gorgeous" 480 x 360 pixel display.
Keep up the good work, RIM. We've got our eyes on you!
