blackberry 8820 RIM launches UMA-ready Blackberry 8820

According to the RIM Web site: 'if your service provider offers UMA/GAN support, you can also take advantage of full voice functionality over any Wi-Fi network supported by your service provider’ with the Blackberry 8820. Reuters reports the new Wi-Fi-enabled Blackberry will be available to AT&T mobile subscribers in the US ‘later this summer.’ Meanwhile, Orange in the UK swooped in and is offering it to their subscribers. And, rumor has it that RIM will announce another UMA-enabled device (Curve?) later this year. Stay tuned.
