Samsung Launches the SGH P220

Samsung has unleashed another UMA-enabled handset on the market. The SGH P220 is Samsung's 7th UMA phone.

The Samsung P220 is available to subscribers of Orange Unik (IS IT???), a UMA service available in all countries Orange services.

The clamshell phone has a 2-inch screen with 128 x 160 pixel resolution and a weight of 71 grams. To store files for its MP3 player, 1.3 megapixel camera or address book that stores up to 1,000 contacts, there is a 10MB internal memory, plus a microSD giving the phone up to 2GB memory. It also comes with a charging desktop cradle for easy use and charging when the user is at home or the office.

As per its other new phone, the SGH P180, Samsung has made no official announcement of the P220.
