UMA Today Announces UMA Innovation Awards 2008 to Recognize Excellence in the Industry
UMA Today will recognize excellence and innovation in UMA-based products and services with its UMA Innovation Awards 2008. The awards, sponsored by France Telecom/Orange, will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2008 (formerly 3GSM). George Penalver, senior executive vice president of strategic marketing for Orange Group, will host the event.

UMA Innovation Awards will be given in the following categories: best dual-mode handset, femtocell solution, client software, test platform, infrastructure solution, UMA-based service, service marketing/advertising, most influential person and most influential company.

The deadline for entry forms is 17:00 GMT on Friday 14 December. All of the award information, including rules, deadlines and downloadable entry forms, is available on UMAToday.com. The judging panel is comprised of industry analysts and journalists.
